Nice! It's been a long time that BM didn't do a Turbo (for non diesel) :P
I forgot to mention that I really don't like the rear of this BM. Seen it many times on the road, and it's really ugly (even with two pipes)

how long ago were these taken?

reason i ask is because i just heard from our FSE that they have decided to stay N/A and were just going to punch out the I-6 another .5 liter.

Could this maybe be the diesel engine in its final test phase with US diesel fuel?

i know the contents are much different between Europe and the US, which is why Mercedes had a problem with their early diesels.

ae86_16v 07-13-2005 01:04 AM

^ Well we do have one of the strictest emissions standards.

doesn't mean they have to test the car there to make sure they are under it :P
I think car is not from BMW but from a pirvate owner working on his new 3 :D
