Britain may not be world class at footie, tennis or cricket but it has proved it's top at tiddlywinks.
UK players Patrick Barrie and Ed Wynn defeated US players Matt Fayers and Larry Kahn at the 24th World Pairs Tiddlywinks Championship held in Cambridge.

The game was invented in 1888.
Tiddlywinks has been played professionally for about 50 years starting at Cambridge University.
The game is played on a mat, using a squidger and winks. Each game lasts 25 minutes and each player has six winks.
Squopped
The rules of the game are:
Use your squidger to get your winks into the pot
If any wink is covered by another, the lower wink is said to be squopped and cannot be played
The player who gets most winks in the pot wins
Sports fans are hoping this is the beginning of a winning streak for Britain.
