ok, i kinda hijacked coombsie's post with my pics, so im moving them here, also with a better lay out...
I went to Le Mans on friday, on an organised trip, it was the 1st race i ever visited. Arrived there on saturday morning, to be woken up by the sound of the cars in practice :D . The whole weekend was incredible, nice race (Aston Martin vs Corvette fight was awesome :twisted: ), nice people, the atmosphere was just so good, even the track marshals were nice when they kicked me out of the pit lane, the cars i've seen on the campsites were great too...very dusty though, there was dust on everything, it was incredibly hot and i got incredibly sunburnt, wearing sunblock might've helped :P ...but i didnt let that ruin my weekend, nothing could have...these were some of the best days of my life...

I havent taken as many pics as i would've wanted to, partially cos many of the cars i had seen on the campsites were already gone on sunday, partially cos i was getting dizzy when i got in the sun...

lol no...he had parked his car near our bus, so a couple of guys of our group went to check it out...so he opened the hood and the doors, and every1 was like WOW (HUGE heat coming off the engine BTW)...so i was looking at the interior, and he said you can sit in it if you want(we need more supercar owners like that dont we?)...so i ofcourse said YEA THANK YOU and i got in...which was VERY hard because of the high sills, the LOW seats and the even lower roof...i had to step with 1 foot into the car, infront of the seat, then grab the roof, and let myself down...and all that was easy compared to getting out...after trying (and failing) to find a good way, i just sat on the sill and let myself fall out lol...there must be a better way but i didnt find it...
the seats were PERFECT to...not very thick leather or anything like that (more like carbon fibre with 1 layer of leather), but they fit me perfectly (so i guess this car is meant for me then eh :P )

By the way, i've never edited pictures before, but here's an attempt...i think it does look better than the original...

The parkings this year were kinda wicked! Did you witness the supercars parade through town?

Nice sightings, i think that old ferrari is a 250 TR...and the Zonda is just aswome

:( no i didn't, i only arrived on Saturday morning...basically all i've seen was the Le Mans Historic race and the race itself...nothing of all the fun before it :cry: will try to see that next time though...

Awesome cars. It's just amazing how many rare exotics are parked over there!! Great to hear the owner of the Ultima GTR was so nice to share his passion.

I loved it...next week, my pics'll be up...some more of the race, although not exactly easy to take...

yeah the # of TVR's was insane...i thought it had to be more than half the TVR's ever produced, there must've been hundreds of them.
Cant wait to see your pics, hope you got some better ones of the race, my tiny low-quality digital camera was totally not suited for taking pics of the race (my dad made some pics with a good old camera, i'll upload them ASAP).
Shame that there was no place where u can get really close and take good pictures eh? and those !@$%^&^^ press ppl just walking by, almost ON the track...im gonna get me 1 of those special press shirts next time :twisted: im not sure if they'll believe me with my mini digital camera tho :P

i wish they make an LM festival here in our track ( BIC ) so we get the chance to see and sit in such cars, i want nothing in this hole life but a Zonda F !!

dude u said ( TVRgriffith? ) , no it ain't a griffith TVR that is a Noble M12 GTO and it is a wicked british ride! it has a Turbocharged V6 engine with a 2.5 liters engine whcih produces 310 bhp, the car weighs 2160 lbs only thats why it reachs 60mph in 4.1 seconds only..

i've only just looked here, but I see a familier car in your first photo's, that Exige, I saw it being prepared for the drive down to LeMans, here, I took a photo of it at work, its not great, but I didnt have much time to take pics with a heavy workload that day!
