Brakes
|
Damn, the Murci brakes are as big as the rims, lol.
So this is an aftermarket kit brake for Lambo's? Although the name sounds familiar :? Anyway, Brembo's are the way to go ( or stop actually ) |
They look spectacular, but the real question is, are they bling or do they actually make a difference?
This is an interesting picture... http://www.movit.de/images/lammu16.jpg I wonder how those MOV.IT brakes would look after they'd been through the same use/abuse as those stockers. :?: |
I vote bling. They look to have a bigger contact area but i have a feeling if you measured the effective surface area of both pads, they would come out the same.
the claipers look to be about the same size too :| I don't have a whole lot of trust in those rotors either. They look a little lighter than the stock ones which will no doubt lead to pedal pulsation after they warp due to inability to dissapate heat. The brake fade on that thing must get horrid with the MCV kit after a few laps of at speed driving :!: |
^^^^ are you sure about that, the mcv discs do have more surface contact imo, same about the calipers, you can clearly see the difference.
Anyway I don't think they would bring out brakes that perform under the original ones :? |
maybe the only difference is the meterial of what they are made of ? :?
