A beautiful tribute to an amazing man, you will be missed ben!
Don't know what to say. These are some really nice car sightings. But on the other hand, it's really sad the world lost a great guy like Ben.
wow, that is quite the tribute
Wanna know something funny. The guys car i rode in happens to be the uncle of a friend of mine and i didnt know that. :D Also a sad moment happened when the CGT finally met up with us, the guy who i rode with said...Good Bens here...then there was an awkward silence.

Why was he such an amazing man? What exactly did he do that was so great?
Ben was a wealthy man, but that was not the reason he was a great person. He was a great person because despite his wealth, he was a very humble and generous person. He frequently drove his car to various meets and gatherings practically on a weekly basis to share his car and thoughts with his friends and the general public.
I did not know him on a personal level, but I have met him many times. He was not the snobby rich-type who stuck his nose up at you. He was a very genuine person who frequently gave strangers rides in his CGT. His generosity was not just limited to the car community. The memorial service was held just a few blocks from my workplace. His wife asked that everyone dress casually because that is the way he'd want it. Some people might not think anything of that, but if you met him, it speaks volumes about his character and what a genuine, friendly, and good-natured person he was. He wasn't one to care about your wealth or social status; his enthusiasm has a way of positively affecting those around him. I hope that helps. Here are other people's thoughts on him. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61677 |
seemed like a great guy to be around. very sad loss indeed. how did he die? i know he hit a wall on track but there was a car that cut him off or something and he swerved and crashed on the track?
