The jedi's and siths can sense each other's presence right? Like Darth Vader knows when other jedi's are in his ship etc.

How come none of the Jedis knew Palpatine was Darth Sidious?

well, since batgirl failed to give you a good answer...

the dark side casts shaddows... rendering some jedi sences completely useless.

why dont the jedi have the same abilities? it goes against moral principal to focus banned beliefes (anger, agression, deciet, etc. which the dark side is made of)

the way a Jedi would hide from a sith is the way Yoda did... since the Force surrounds every living creature, a planet full of life would mask the presence of a powerful jedi from another jedi, let alone a sith.

Tatoine was a remote planet, far from where prying sith lords were based... and Kenobi was far from as powerful as Yoda.

Perhaps the jedi have the same abilities is impossible. Yeah. . . I guess it does. . .

man she manages to make her way into the weirdest places doesn't she....


plus, since sidious is so powerful and coruscant is teeming with life, it may not have been too difficult for him to mask his presence
