Check this out I saw the commercial a few times now so I figured what the heck and it seems that there are quite a few different sites made now for this and I'm guessing this is one hell of an elaborate advertisement...

You're right, it's just an elaborate marketing / advirtising scheme. It's not for real.

If it was real, the cost of all the commercials, web stuff, and other would far exceed the cost of the car.

Personally, I don't like the technique. Sure it's creative, but it really just tells me how easy it would be to steal one, or have mine stolen if I had one.

one big media scheme. i agree with coloradosilver i wouldnt want one if they are so easily stolen!

see my question is if you find the car do you win it or something? I know Land Rover did it with the LRD3 in Chicago I'm sure they did it in other places.

It is like reality TV with a twist - the idea sucks even worse than actual reality TV.. :)
