A guy on Viperclub.com just got one...Its 625hp and it weights in at 2200lbs..Its slow compared to some of those monster snakes they got over there but the Ultima might outrun some of those Vipers on a circuit track.

Its designed as a track day car, so I would think it would circles around a viper. Very fast car and chevy powered. I want one.

I agree, I think the Ultima would out perform the viper on the track. We all know american cars belong only on straights. :P just kidding.

My statement was not meaning stock Vipers...That is a highly modded Ultima. It would terminate stock Vipers with extreme prejudice. Some of those guy have highly modded track Vipers..The Viper I think an Ultima would have the most trouble with is the Comp Coupe thus why I said "MOST" Vipers...The Comp Coupe is a race car straight from the factory and you saw what the late great Paul Mumford did to the field of "FACTORY SPONSORED" hardware in his first race ever in his privately owned Comp Coupe...This is the Viper I was thinking of when makin the above "MOST" statement. I should have been clearer...Its the Viper that matches up the best with the all out racecar Ultima...

Oh - I know those Comp Coupes - they get their arses kicked by C6 Coupes in SpeedChallenge racing... ;) :P

LOL....I hope you actually know the amount of restrictions/handicaps they put on the Comp Coupes just so every other car can be competitive...You know like skinnier rubber up front than any of the other competitors, restrictor plates, added weight etc....And yet it still wins against the C6, Caddys, Porsches etc.. 8) But all the viewer sees when it loses is that it got beat by car x etc...they dont realize the amount of restriction placed on the car. They did the same to the GTS's in the past and pretty much made it uncompetitive...Sucks but rules are rules...
