Damn WTF happened?

I saw the crash on TV last night :( He just lost it and hit a the hill on the side of the road......it had been raining so it obviously caught him out. A Nissan GTR is leading now over a couple of Porsches, the other Gallardo is in 19th (although the driver is a golfer not a racer) :?
