Coulthaud vs. Massa

"I HAVE no interest in trying to drive another car off the road at 200mph. Formula One is dangerous enough as it is. But that's what Felipe Massa accused me of in the San Marino Grand Prix.

We came together twice in the race at Imola, although the first time I felt nothing.

was just going about my race. It was only when I saw part of his wing lying by the track the next time round did I realise we must have hit.

We were close for a while. I was struggling for balance and he was quicker than meon a few parts of the track, especially into Rivazza.

We came together when he pulled to the right and there was no way I was going to drive wide and go off line so we came together again.

He flipped me the bird. Make no mistake, I saw his gesture. But it was not for me to move out of his way

It was immature arrogance for him to think I'd just pull out of the way. I gave him a chance to say what he wanted to say by parking next to him in the parc ferme after the race.

But he chose not to say anything to me then. So I thought the issue was closed.

But as I was leaving the track at about6.30pm,I saw him give me the middle finger again.

It's one thing to do it on the track but to someone's face is a completely different matter.

So I went over to his car, opened the door and grabbed the little f******r by the neck. It was then that I looked in the back of his car and saw that his parents were sat there!

That diffused the situation very quickly. But he continued ranting at me, saying I was unsporting.

I guess in the end it's better I have had the face-to-face with him.

hahaha, that little fu***, very funny, poor massa, that must have been embarrasing, the crazy punk

haha, i'd be scared as shit to have Coulthard after me, he's huge

Well, all F1 drivers are in pretty damn good shape, they do physical training alot just to withstand the punishment during the race.

hmm..F1 Celebrity Boxing...anyone else think we could make a killing on tickets for that? :D

ya, i know. not saying I wouldn't be scared if any F1 driver were pissed, but Coulthard especially because he just looks bigger (perhaps its cuz of the jawline?).

pretty immature of Massa to behave like this. I agree with Coulthard that there's nothing he should have done, he was on line and Massa plowed into him basically. I guess they should just both be happy that nothing tragic occured.

If Coulthard really didnt see Massa the first time they collided then that is a pretty major worry. Surely when you are in that sort of a battle you should know where abouts the other car is at all times.

DC can't hold his cool IMO. Massa is clearly wrong and stuff, but is it really necessary to grab ppl by the neck? That's abit uncivilized if you ask me.

szumszer 04-30-2005 10:45 AM

well, DC should have kicked his ass right there in front of his parents ... that would have taught him not to flip a bird at DC or anyone else for that matter ... talk about unsportsman-like ... not only did he crash into DC and gave him a finger, but then after the race tried to give DC a finger again and run to his car to get away ... little fu**ing pu**y ... then DC grabs his neck and he does nothing ... proves my point again ... DC showed great restraint in not beating his brains in when his parents were watching ... too much of a gentleman, but I respect that decision ... and I have nothing personal against massa, but he should have some respect for his elders, DC has been in F1 for years, longevity in F1 is a rare thing and so is sportsman-like conduct, hopefully massa learned a valuable lesson here

Hehe, this would have been fun to watch... Somehow, remembers me of the Montoya vs. Camera-man incident.

DC should have knocked the guy straight the fuck out. Uncivilized my ass, its Massa who acted like a dick and never appoligized, these people deserve a beating.

jenkF1 05-01-2005 05:10 AM

Yeah Massa was due for a beating for Braveheart. Massa bailed like a pussy in Parc Ferme and it took his parents to bail him out of the shit. Should make the rest of the season interesting..
