Tought it would be cool to have this as future reference.
*360 Modena: Berlinetta - 8,500 Units Spider - 7,500 Units Challenge Stradale - 1,200 Units Race cars (Challenge) - 300 Units This accounts for a total of 17,500 cars produced over 5 years. *Note: rounded numbers. F355: Berlinetta - 4,915 Units GTS - 2,577 Units Spider - 3,714 Units Spider Serie Fiorano - 104 Units Challenge - 72 Units (built as new; an estimate of 100 cars were fitted with Ferrari's after-market pack.) Competizione - 355 Units Number of cars produced over 5 years or so: 11,737 Units. Also, Factory's anual production capacity: Maximum of 5,000 cars. Most produced in a year: 4,900 cars (2004). |
Interesting numbers...
Some would argue that 18000 cars over 5 years is too much, but hell... there's no such thing as too many ferraris :D I'm surprised that they built 1200 CSs in such a short period... Nice find nuno! |

Great find Nuno. It seems Ferrari's V8 series sold like hot cakes after the release of the f355.
