$150 Supercharger Package? Can someone help me with this?

Came across this auction on ebay.

An Electric Supercharger?

Says you get 10% - 15% at the wheels.

It seems like a scam to me, but I have no idea about this....

Let me know whats up with this....

its total BS.. more likely you will get 10-15% less at the wheels once its fitted

basically you could just use a leafblower
we thought of trying this at school

wont work.
The parasytic loss from the electricity used through the alternator will actually hurt your hsp.
Even worse.. alot of these things will melt and cause damage to the engine bay.

An electric fan isn't gonna spin fast enough to condense air.

the thing i find funny about this, is the fact that they say it forces COLD air (meaning cooler than supplied by stock air box) yet all of thier setups have it located in hot spots around the engine compartments

indeed......and if it does actaully compress the air.....it'd be hotter...hence the need for an intercooler

Not to mention that the compressor blades on both turbo and supercharger's are designed specifically for that purpose. On a turbo setup, the turbo blades can be spinning at over 100.000 rpm's at full boost.

hahah i cant believe this scam has went this far

the only manufacturer of a true electric supercharger that works is Thomas Knight Turbos

these are crappy lil electric motors with fans on them, more than likely all it would do is rip the fan off and get it stuck in your tb butterfly lol

its a scam
