Improving Picture quality help!!!
 

I think this is the rite place to put this. Anyways I have a Cannon Elur 60 or 65 camcorder. Its a pretty neat little camera but my picture quality is bad for some reason? I havent messed around with it alot since I have no clue what the hell everything does! :( This is the camera -

Anyways how do I get rid of these little green dots to have a more cleaner and smoother looking picture? I have circiled the little dot thingy I am talking about.

To reduce grain, you need to fiddle with the ISO setting, loweing it to the minimum, but to be honest I am not sure I have such setting on a camcorder.

Anyway are you talking about "picture quality" just to say the image is dotty or you want to take pictures and not vids with it? Because from a camcorder you can't expect perfect pictures I guess

Alright I will read the User manual and look up this ISO settings.

Is it because I dont have enough light or something? BTW speaking of vids I forgot that I can make videos with a camcorder! Looks like I am gonna be making a video of GT4! :D

IMO the ISO setting is sadly automatical on your camcorder, so thre is probably no way for you to take better pics in poor lighting conditions. For that you will need a "real" digicamera while this one is mainly for vids as far as I can see

Oh well its all good. I can just turn the light on and/or open up the blinds in the house for light! :D
