Planned use of the new BoseŽ LEM electromagnetic suspension system will provide a much smoother ride than any luxury sedan, combined with less roll and pitch than any sports car (www.bose.com). Be sure to check back for updates on the progress on America's newest luxury automobile, updates will be posted frequently. The car looks gangsta. I'm not sure I like it.
If you imagine the back of the car is the front end it looks like a Zonda. http://www.autorevue.cz/Images/5287/22.jpg |
the basic shape of the car looks alot like Morgan Aero8, very different, but definitely not my cup of tea

I actually think this is a pretty attractive design. If you go back and look at a lot of the old Duesies from the 30's and 40's the styling is quite similar, esp. on the Boattail speedsters. If the engine is really as compact, powerful, and economic as they claim in the little blurb above, then it's probably going to be a pretty good unit. Of course the Duesenberg name is also associated with some of the highest-end luxury cars in the world, so hopefully this car lives up to that and provides some serious competition for the Conti GT (granted it won't be anywhere near as fast without a much more powerful engine, but it's a nice thought all the same) |

i thinks if they actually make this car it will turn out pretty good.
yea its weird but the front like the aereo is pretty cool i think. the back though, the idea is cool but it looks tooo much like the front of the car. if u cover up the front the car would look very bad ass with that back end. well i hope they make it it would turn out a pretty good car |
this will be a bad ass car if they make it right. Im not sure about this Engine though. They need to just stick a real proven engine. Maybe a big ford, or big GM engine.

I like it! I'm not to keen on them reviving the Duesenburg name though. 300bhp ought to get it moving, but more would be better. I wonder what the length of the car is, the original Duesenburgs were a tad on the ginormous side.

How will they fit 4 persons into that car? In these drawings it looks like you gotta be under a meter or something like that if your gonna fit into the back seat.....
The engine sounds like a funny combination of stuff. 12 cylinder and supercharged and "only" 300 hp? If they can really hit 70 mpg it is bloody impressive. So it will be like 3 liters or something.... And then it is air-cooled! I thought this have been proven not to be ideal, since pretty much every other new car in the world now got a water-cooled power plant. But it seems like it does keep the weight down |
Looks a hell of a lot like a morgan aero 8 from the side
|
You can be sure that when it does come out, the changes to the body will be more realistic. US Government crash testing and the bumper requirements are gonna change that nose and tail styling somewhat. That Bose suspension system better be done right. Talk about first year teething problems.
