Nice suggestion.... you won't have a powerslide at 160mph with all that grip they provide :P
The only explanation is that they are "slave wheels". Rims used to move the car about, usually on the assembly line in a factory, but they may also be fitted during storage of the car over long periods. It stops you getting flat-spots on the tyres (which could be expensive on 4 x £250 Pirellis :wink: )
