Computer Speakers shot!
 

Hey guys I have a Cambridge Soundworks (Creative) 4.1 set up. A while ago, two speakers of the 4 didnt work nemore, so i was thinking maybe the amplifier box(the sub thing whatever you call it) was shot....but two of them worked. So I decided I may as well use my sony mini system speakers, cause they are bigger and pump harder. PLus since it is only two speakers I thought maybe this would be the same power usage as the 4 combined... I dunno I am far from an electrical magician! :cry: now it barely works at all the sub still bumps, but i get next to NO sound from my other speakers. I know it is not the speakers that are shot, cause i have moved them around and plugged them into the other things and all 4 work. So before I go out and buy a new amp(sub box) or a whole new speaker system, can there be ne thing wrong with this internally on the computer? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks guys :D

I had the same setup a long time ago and it did exactly the same.. now I just plug my soundcard directly to a NAD amp and big speakers :P
