DVD Question
I got 3 s-video cd's and i want to put them on one DVD. my question is How?
|
Hello
I think what you have to do is go into the <CDROM>:\MPEG2 folder and find the "AVSEQ<number>.bin" file, rename the number only (starting from 01, then 02, 03, etc.) and then copy it to another CD's <CDROM>:\MPEG2 folder. I don't exactly remember if there are any VCD headers that the system needs to deal with to recognize the new files, but as far as I know, this SHOULD work. Hope this helps! |
And then i can burn this to a DVD?
|
yup... but it'll be like a SVCD with 3 tracks on it, instead of having 1 full video.
you can also always try it out by making a CD image, emulating an image-based cd drive using something like Daemon Tools, and see if it'll play natively on PowerDVD... that way you won't waste a DVD if it should fail good luck! |
ok kool i will try that thanks!
|
not a problem. :D
feel free to post another message if it doesn't work. :) again, good luck with it! |

ok i burnt a CD iso to a dvd but it dosnt play on dvd players any help?
|
its a lot more complicated than that....
you need to covert the SVCD mpg to DVD compatible mpeg2 then use an authoring program to burn your DVD... |
Ok jabba, lead the way, i would be very thank ful if you could show me the programs and what not.
|
Its all mentioned on the website that AblativE mentioned also try www.vcdhelp.com
