Seriously, I really can't think that too many people know this one. If that's not the case, prove me wrong!!!

wow arty, this is a good one. My gut says it's a Lotus, but i can't find any info to back it up :?

DeMoN 02-28-2005 12:05 PM

I have NO idea. What did the blurred out tex say?

zr2man99 02-28-2005 01:10 PM

Its hard to tell from just a shot of the hood.

artypossum 02-28-2005 01:23 PM

The blurred writing is the info about the car, well the name and where it was made and when.

That is what adds to the difficulty of this one. :D

I would guess a GT1 but I'm probably wrong

loliea 02-28-2005 03:44 PM

I think it's from the Abarth family (the white one just beside it is a Fiat Abarth 600). For the exact name I have to dig into my piles of magazine....could take some time!

artypossum 02-28-2005 05:06 PM

I'm afraid you're both wrong. Loliea; I'll save you the time and effort, its not from the Abrath family.

loliea 02-28-2005 08:22 PM

Damned! I thought it was a derivative of the Fiat Abarth 500.
Can you give a clue? Is it brazilian?

DeMoN 03-02-2005 07:05 AM

the answer to this one would be nice to have now thnx lol.

I was going to say Lotus Europa too... It's definitely a hard one! :D

The Europa is a mid engine car, so it doesn't make sense to have the hood "scoop" where it is. Actually...i think it may be a rear engined car since the engine is behind the gearbox. Also there seems to be too much space between the nose and headlights to be a Europa :|

I'd say that the Matra might be the closest so far.

My guess is (and I'm probably wrong but what the fuck) it's an Alpina. I don't know the name but it reminds me of an Alpina from the seventies.

Mers 03-02-2005 04:54 PM

Might it be a Puma??
