wow.....great pictures mate, what a great turnout :D I heard that Fox would be bringing his Supercars to the show, I just hope he thinks about Perth in a few months :)
I just wish he didn't get the Enzo with the yellow roof (his company colours for those who don't know).....just looks stupid IMO. Thanks again, I will get the high-res pics of you next time on MSN hopefully  |
^^ heheheh no worries mate. I was scared i would not be able to produce any good results from the D70 as it is my first SLR, but i am very happy with how the pics turned out. :D
I cant wait till we fly down to the F1 in Melbourne, Will be some great cars there for sure!! |
no need to worry, they look sensational :D
|
I cant believe u got the Enzo....OH MY GOD !!! The Melbourne Motor show is next month after the Grand Prix... def going to check it out..!!
|
^ well you can see his cars at anytime since you live in Melb, go to the Fox Motor Museum and you'll get them plus more (a few Gullwings, Daytona, XJ220......)
|
What kind of lenses do you use with your D70?
As for the pics, VERY good ones! But the Enzo with yellow parts is EWWW :? BTW, you don't have one of the Enzo from above with the doors closed? |

*DROOL* Those wheels are beautiful A great set of pics mate. |
Amazing pictures.... it's rare to get good pics at a motorshow with the lights etc... you must be very talented, or have an expensive cam :P (j/k)
The Enzo with the yellow roof was posted in the ferrari section a while ago, nice to see it again, even though it is pretty tasteless :| It's great you got to see the 4 super-ferrari's 8) , i look forward to saving many of the pics |
^yeah, those really are nice rims!
Great effort w/ all the pics - a great sighting. Some very nice photo work too - the murci pics are wicked, as well as some of those enzos. thanks for posting. |
thanks for the comments guys, Glad you like the pics!
TT: i used the nikon af-s 18-70mm DX lense, wasnt able to get any shots from above sadly, all the cars where fenced around, and up on a little stage, so i could just see the roof of the enzo, barley. My knees are still shaking from seeing the collection of ferraris, glad my hands didnt shake  |
Too bad for the roof, at least we can see it thanks to the open doors.. every Enzo is unique, but this one, although pretty strange, is even more so.
Another question, did you shoot in auto mode or did you play with the settings, and anyway, do you recall the average setting for shutter speed and aperture you got? |
Yeap i shoot in auto mode, and Macro, but i turned the flash off, and let the camera control the aperture and shutter speed, i put it on ISO 200, and switched between dynamic view and single view modes. thats about it. The average aperture the images came out was 4.0 to 4.5 and expoure was inbetween 1/50s to 1/80s(according to ACDSee image viewer).
:D |
Thanks for the infos :) and good thing you got rid of the flash obviously ;)
|
Not only are those Ferrari pics great to see, the quality of the pics is awesome. Maybe I've to consider buying myself a D70 (my little digicam starts to show its downsides more and more) :D
Thanks for those pics of the nice Ferrari's :) |
