Nice car but you posted a pic twice. the spoiler is too big and those wheels are kinda weird

SafirXP 02-05-2005 02:24 PM

thanx a lot dude!

mindgam3 02-05-2005 03:01 PM

Chaos in 1983! 02-05-2005 03:21 PM

thank god it doesn't have a billion stickers on it...it look so sexy and sleek

23790554 02-05-2005 06:57 PM

it looks like a trailer queen

Hmmmm, my respect goes to the guys at HKS and DoLuck and all the other tuners who are actually DESIGNING and ENGINEERING and PRODUCING all these parts. How difficult is it to throw a load of money at your car, get all your parts shipped 'over-night' (seems like a fast and furious comment to me) bolt them together, then set your map on the dyno and oh look ive got 1000 bhp.
As has been said the torque curve is all over the place.
Exvitermini however i respect as from their website it appears they know their shit!
1000 bhp is 1000 bhp i spose.

there is a faster one in existence here in Texas. can turn over 10k rpms but he won't say how far past. also makes over 1k hp. and even more with nitrous. he just doesn't talk about it cause his last car was stolen.

I have one that turns 22000 rpm and makes over 2000 RWHP all motor, no turbo. I just don't like to talk about it either because my last car, the Dauer 962 LM, got stolen because of my bragging.

1000 hp is very impressive but I don't see it being very useful. What the fuck can you do with so much power and how long will that engine last?

ikon2003 02-06-2005 02:08 AM

^ 1000bhp is very impressive. what do you do with it? brag about it so you can get your car in magazines. how long will the engine last - prolly not very long. but if you have the mulah to put that shiznit in your car (a mighty mighty expensive tab for all that tuning gear) you prolly can afford to keep it tuned, and repair things if you need to. and unless you're a hardcore dragster, you won't b pushing it that much anyway (under normal circumstances, that straight six should last a lifetime - so incredibly stable).

i'm impressed with all the ceramic coating. definitely needed, and a nice touch. that's one crazy supra. thanks for posting the info and the scans.

actually, he thinks thats why it was stolen. he showed it off, everyone knew what he had and it magically dissapeared. and the hp is impressive. it may not last forever But if you have the money to build it, you will probably have the money to replace stuff as better things hit the market. upgrading before you older parts wear out. and 1000hp isn't worth alot on the car (drag racing) in this article unless he has a heavy flywheel and some rubber out back. the 800hp+ supras are infamous highway runners.

pagani 02-06-2005 07:09 AM

If it was my car than it's get driven as much as i can.
And i don't think is a trailer queen maby a daily driver or car for saturday's and sunday's.
Maby i could be superbike killer i don't think that much street cars are faster in straightline but round the corners i don't now.
Nissan skyline and the supra are my favorite japanese cars.
Any engine whit more than 1000 bhp can't last very long but you fit some new if think that the old are getting tired but you have to rebuild it soon.
Can you convert a supra to awd???
If you have money to spare maby you can build a v12 supra bye welding to engine's together and that is much better you won't have to run high boost pressure and the engine can last long.
:D

racer_f50 02-06-2005 09:25 PM

ditch the rims and it would looks pretty nice i think. black is always a great color for Supras, just looks great.
have to agree with BADMIHAI, having 1000hp is rather pointless. Unless they've got some magic tires I bet they have wheelspin in every gear through most of the rev range. Sure nice to say you have 1000hp though 8)

pagani 02-07-2005 07:17 AM

Mabe tuned the engine a bit back to something like 750 -800 bhp.
Strip interior fit rollcage etc.
Turn into a roadrace/trackday beast.
:D 8)

saadie 02-07-2005 09:48 AM

this is the third mad supra in my book .... after JUN and Top Secret ...
this one is freakingly amazing ... and its so black 8)
