Just thought I'd post my friends crash pictures, nothing better to do.

Nicely destroyed.

On one of the local downhills there is a small part of the road that abrubtely moves down a few cm's then up again (like a drain) which goes across the entire road, Magna hit it and made the rear unsteady, the rear moves over to the gravel, car is sideways (I was driving closely behind, about 3 metres from the *side* of his car now) then after loosing most of its speed the car does a backwards flip off the rather steep hill taking some of the local flora with it, few more flips later and the car came to a stop.

Fucked ey?

holy crap thats a hell of a wreck. was your friend alright? the roof seems to be completely crushed in

Mezevenf 02-01-2005 12:12 AM

There were 4 people in the car, incl my sister. Everyone got out with nothing bar bruises and feeling sore.

Not bad ey? This happened at about 11:30pm too, they all climbed out the drivers window.

jeez talk about lucky. I was in an accident that was much less severe than that, but I had a gash in my knee from breaking the dash with it. Glad to hear everyone is alright

ferrarif1fan89 02-01-2005 01:03 AM

wowee. i hope he ducked when that thing turned over!

Mezevenf 02-01-2005 01:14 AM

Yea this happened a while ago, and yea, they ducked :)

tekwar 02-01-2005 01:17 AM

wow glad to hear no one was hurt, but its surprising from just looking at those pics, the roof didnt hold too well to say the least.

neilo63 02-01-2005 01:37 AM

wow thats some mash up lucky no one got killed.

ferrarif1fan89 02-01-2005 01:39 AM

who makes those cars? ive never heard of them.

Mezevenf 02-01-2005 02:07 AM

Mitsubishi, Australian thing.

I think the main reason for the lack-o-death was because it was such a slow and soft sort of crash. Mind your the roof is pretty crushed in (It was a stationwagon) but it did a backflip and about 3 sideways rolls down the hill till it stopped (about 40metres travel in total).

ferrarif1fan89 02-01-2005 02:08 AM

HOLY SHIT! how did it happen? tire blow out?

Mezevenf 02-01-2005 03:28 AM

Read the first post.

I wonder if that battery is still there... The tyre marks are.

CSedl87 02-02-2005 12:39 AM

How fast was he going?

Mezevenf 02-02-2005 06:14 AM

Well, about 145km/h, I was doing 160 to catch him :S
