actually i think the car of the year was just the C6 in general not exclusively to the Z06 (although they did cover it earlier in the issue) but yes the dream car was the ford GT.

for car of the year i voted for the mustang GT but the vette would have definitly been my second choice :P

FordGTGuy 01-24-2005 10:03 PM

the picture is of the Z06 may be wrong

(left to go get mag)

(i'm back)

your right sorry.

A lil something for the article about the Ford GT.

"The Ford GT

As soon as the polls opened, the Ford GT surged ahead with more votes than any other Dream Car. It finished with nearly twice as many winning ballots as the next runner up, the Aston Martin DB9 (go to

Im my honest opinion car of the year etc is a personal oppiniong thing...lastly I couldnt care less what R&T shitty magazine with shitty articles with perdominantly shitty cars.

FordGTGuy 01-24-2005 10:24 PM

so the MC12 is a shitty car? and what about the Lamborghini MurciƩlago Roadster?

bmwmpower 01-25-2005 08:50 AM

and Mustang, iread review in autocar and car seems ok, Mustang GT V8 is nice ,fast and legend

Road and track is good, but sports car intl is better, and when u can find and can afford it, EVO is the best...but at $12 plus tax for the mag... it is pricey. So worth it IMO! maybe some american bias with the Ford GT winning dream car of the year in a mag with a prodominantly american target audience... heeh

lol yea without a doubt there was some bias you are definitly right about that hehe. im sure just like on top gear with the DB9 winning. but its still definitly a worthy car IMO.

My first thought was: ok an American magazine, so American cars come first.

But Top Gear we all love, does exactly the same thing. And too be honest this year they have got a really good point. The Corvette C6 was praised by many non-american magazines too... and the same goes for the Ford GT.

Ok, I would have put the Ferrari 430 first in the dream car list, but that's just me.

FordGTGuy 01-25-2005 06:13 PM

if there wasn't a ford gt i would have definitley picked the DB9 even over the corvette.

Refefer 01-26-2005 01:11 AM

Heh, despite the American bias, it's not like they picked a *bad* car as number 1...

True. Plus the fact that the GT had double the votes of the runner up implies that there might be more to it than just bias
