NYC: Jan. 9-14 Sightings... Con GT, 2x Quatroporte, SL65...+
Hey Guys/Gals Heres a summary of this week's car sightings..
Continental GT..(I wonder what nation the driver is from... those who dont understand this comment please ignore it) http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0080.thumb.jpg http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0084.thumb.jpg PS the street where this shot was taken is a high security area meaning that if an officer wouldve seen me taking this picture they could stop me for questioning for "suspicious" behaviour even if it was just a picture of the car.. Here is a SLightly Blinging Magnum in the Downtown Area.. http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0086.thumb.jpg http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0087.thumb.jpg Heres a rare sight..! only the second time that ive seen this car in the city.. an imported "lodon taxi' as someone called it previously.. http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0089.thumb.jpg http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0092.thumb.jpg to give you an idea as to how different from all the cars in the city it is, i took this picture.. http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0093.thumb.jpg Heres a pic of a taxi crash in 34st n 6th Ave.. It was pretty funny because the driver that got hit was really stressed out even though his car was barely damaged.. even funnier was that when i took the picture they were waiting for the police to arrive and I was standing right next to a parked cop car that they kept glancing and pointing at becuz the police were taking so long.. http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0131.thumb.jpg Heres a red 360 spider in a parking garage.. unfortunately the workers didnt allow me to go take pics of it... oh well.. http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0136.thumb.jpg http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0140.thumb.jpg Heres a nice shot through the glass into the local Mercedes Dealership.. http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0147.thumb.jpg http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0149.thumb.jpg Heres the SL65, I spotted this drive by and then the light turned red.. the car had gotten stuck at the light 3 blocks from when i was.. i proceeded into sprint mode and made a dash to the front of the stoplight where i snapped up about 6 photos.. of which 2 were accidentally deleted and these were the ones that came out best from what was left.. immediately after the pic a cop (on the same street as the cont gt) commented on how beautiful it looked and i told him "yea that right there is atleast $185ooo" to which his response was.. "yea but you can only get that after you got the house!".. http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0138.thumb.jpg http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0141.thumb.jpg Heres a Maybach that was outside of the trump tower.. I was able to get only one shot of the car bcuz a cop in one of those scooter cart things started signaling me to keep walking and not take any more pics of the car... might be the Donald's! http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0040.thumb.jpg Heres the Modified MK4 Supra that I had previously posted pics of before.. http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0104.thumb.jpg http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0130.thumb.jpg http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0134.thumb.jpg Here are the Quatroportes... Unfortunately my camera has been acting up recently.. im gonna have to mess with its adjustments again bcuz its taking way too long to take pics and its messing up my shots.. http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0143.thumb.jpg http://supercarfreak.net/gallery/alb...0039.thumb.jpg As always Low Res Preview High Res Content.. Enjoy! |
Damn, kinda makes waht I saw rather small. (a lorinser S600, a 'regular' S600, 3 Audi A8L's, a 550 MM, a 360, and 3 911 turbos)
|
thats not bad at all. Id rather see a 550MM than the CL65, and 360 that I saw bcuz their pictures were complete crap... (CL65 was inside the Local Mercedes Dealer on the other side of the showroom... same place as the Sl500 n Maybach pic...)

That's a cool dodge...although thwe wheels are too bling-bling for me...

|
nice pics really...the magnum looks also quite sick...so muscular
|
Nice Sightings. And thanks for the SL65, specially because you had to go into sprint mode to catch it :)
And why would that cop dislike the fact you were taking a pic of that Maybach? What's wrong with taking a pic of a car. It doesn't get damaged by it :D |
it seems the police are very nervous of cameras eh? how come parking attendant would not allow you to step 10 feet inside the garage to take pictures of one of the sexiest cars ever made? have they no respect for the auto enthusiast? and whats with the cops giving you shit for taking pictures of cars? does NYC have a distinct set of privacy laws that make it illegal to photograph awesome vehicles? or dont they realize that sweet cars are a whole lot more fun to take pics of then 10 million lightbulbs in times square? neways nice to see some high end machinery out in the winter...i am suprised you didnt see any porsches out and about, they are everywhere in toronto, as the big boys wouldnt dare take their ferraris out on nasty days like the ones we have been having up here recently. i still think yorkville cant be beat for car sighting north of South Carolina.... :D
