Oh jeez that's funny. Must suck for that dealer... would be a great way to get a discounted new car (after the water damaged is repaired).

that old car next to the Caravan is fucked :( (top right corner)

mazmazmaz1 01-13-2005 03:53 PM

Ya its most unfortunate for the seller however i dont think much damage is done with such water elevation

Fleischmann 01-13-2005 04:01 PM

I guess the cars will be OK, but it is still a sad sight :(

ferrarif1fan89 01-13-2005 06:07 PM

ooh, gosh. hope hes got a great insurance plan. atleast the cars are allright! and i now know that my decision on buying an X3 was worth it!

findleybeast 01-13-2005 07:20 PM

^ I don't know if the X3 has too much more clearance than a lot of those cars...

SilviaEvo 01-13-2005 08:35 PM

^^he has got a point. a lot of the time the car still has many problems

Sir_GT 01-14-2005 12:40 AM

The reason why there weren't any Mercs was because they don't sell anymore ;)

actually you REALLY do not wanna buy water damaged cars most of the time. The exposure to water like that can cause early corrosion of alot of engine and suspension parts down the line...and there can be alot of problems with the interior, doors, windows, etc..

avoid water damaged cars at all costs, they are very expensive to fix, because they have to be rebuilt most of the time.

not to mention electronics that will eventually go nuts.

"why are my windshield wipers going everytime i honk my horn? And why to my windows now oll down when i use my handbrake?"

inso 01-14-2005 07:51 AM

yes that was salty seawater, so corrosion will do its job, electricity can do plenty of tricks, and not to mention the smell that comes from once wet interior.

The only reason my friend that there were not any Mercs is because they
kept Mercs in the showrooms and not in open spaces like the ordinary cars!!! :D :D
