This is Jaguar's new concept car, on display in Detroit. It is designed by Ian Callum and provides cues of what the new XK is going to look like. It is powered by a V8 and has an aluminium body. It is said to get from 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds and has a top speed of 290 km/h.

Perhaps it looks a bit too much like an Aston, but I don't think that's a bad thing. It looks great IMO. However, I don't really like the wheels. They're too big and have a little too high a bling-factor.

I like the design and it looks like it could be another classic for Ian Callum.. Agree with you on the wheels tho, Jaguar should be more tasteful than that.

Damn, close this topic please. I scanned for topics with Jaguar XK in the title before posting and there didn't seem to be any. Turns out there is one. :(

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm absolutely astonished by this concept...No matter how similar to the aston it is..There is a setback Jaguar needs to get over and this is a way to get over it imo.

Wow, this looks very good looking - yet in a way that reminds me almost too much of the new Aston models from the first pic.

and the rear lights i like a lot - they look like they were picked from the fuora black jag concept (the 600+ bhp car).

If it looked like that, I would be happy to pay for it.
