that is a concept car called C2. It was supposed to be a BMW supercar designed by italdesign i think. Never was made but I like it. There is another variant that looks better though.

Apparently the one you found is the M12 while the others are c2 nazca and yes, confirmed on the italdesign creation.

Its a Nazca ItalDesign C2 :wink:

That's a pretty sweet looking car for 1991. interesting that bimmer would go to italdesign to get the design modeled.

I don't think BMW had it designed by Italdesign. The C2 and M12 are concepts by Italdesign for which they just used a BMW as a base. To my knowledge BMW didn't contemplate building a midengined supercar around that time. The M1's lack of success probably had something to do with that.
