New Monaro VZ Review
 

For any fan of the Vauxhall/Holden Monaro. Autoweb.com.au has just done a great review of the car. Personally i think the car is brilliant. Im not too sure about the air scoops though, it just hasnt grown on me.

Thanks for the link, I actually like the scoops - they give it a more aggressive look. I saw a new HSV GTO last week at the petrol station and it was a beautiful looking car IMO. :D
I'm not sure what type of 'performance' cars they (the guys writing the article) are beating at the lights with a 0-100 time of 7sec......alot of Jap cars would kick its ass at that pace. :(

I saw the new VZ GTO at the lights in Black, I think the scoops looks awesome!! Very aggrisive but nice clean lines :)
Also has the new 6-L LS2 engine too! The new HSV's have a base accelertation of 0-100 in 5.3 (manual), a lot better than 7sec. 7 it get spanked by a Renault Megane turbo 225, Peurgot 180 GTI and Golf GTI imagine how embarrasing that be for a musle car driver!!!

Manaro is a classic car IMO

As it happens I saw a VZ Monaro today; in bright yellow. Sounded very nice as the driver booted it from the lights.
Saw it, thought shit thats a new munro went for phone and it was gone! :(
Was on my bike at the time.
Hopefully will see it again and get some pics; like the new front much more than the old, much tougher 8) .
