0-100mph in ONE SECOND!
until i see video proof, i call BS
same here. I just felt like sharing.
how is it possible to have the car only at 28lb? with the engine and all the roll cage, i think is a prank, cuz any person with a decent car knowledge would know that metal is heavier than plastic
it says the body weighs 28lbs, not the car and top fuel dragsters do 0-100 in about 0.8 and at about 320+ not 250 so its not impossible
They said " Zero to 100-mph in less than one second "
and said " Reaches speeds of 250-mph in a quarter mile " Wonder what times dose it take to finish the quarter mile 3 sec ??? :? |
some of the dragsters experience more g-force acclleration than this car appears to do as well
8g's at takeoff, and sustained 5-6 g's until the end of the quarter. im not say ing 6 seconds is slow... its freekin fast! but, i dont think this car will beat 330 some mph in the 1/4 mile thier estimated 250 mph sounds reasonable (and freekin' fast) |
Thats nothing for a top fuelly. They usually do 0-100 under 1 second, and the quarter in 5 seconds. So no bs flag here.
why bs Topfuel runs to a 100 in 60 FEET!!! Its possible
Deffinately not BS. You have to realize 100mph for these cars is not much of a time waist. When the car launches it is releasing(in this car) 2500hp without wheel spin, and deffinately no turbo lag. It's very much possible.

guys Topfuel Dragsters that run 1/4 miles in 4 sec. hit 100 in less then a sec. (before the 60 ft mark). and have a trap speed of around 300 mph. It is done
i've heard of cars (dragsters) doing around .5 second to sixty, I think its definately possible.
0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in less than 0.5 seconds http://home.wxs.nl/~monique_pels/MAIN.HTML i think the myth is confirmed! :) |
as evreyone said, it's a drag car, it's highley possible.
Who gives a shit? It's not street legal!
Anyone can take a light weight chasis and throw a ton of horsepower into it and make it go fast in the quarter. Show me this car with a comfortable interior, a useable in the real world suspension, and all the things that it would need to be street legal and meet some safety standards, then I'd be impressed. |
