Need to upgrade computer = buy new one because this laptop can play it, but not how it should!

No, its not a nuke or anything..

Steam download is official, u just need to purchase the CD-KEY online or buy half-life 2 in a store and use the CD-KEY...all HL2 includes CS-Source

I will say one thing, this STEAM system is complete ass. The servers are so busy, they can't verify my Key yet. I noticed in the news section that many are having this issue with STEAM, among other things. So I have to be patient and wait. I am also not too happy with the fact that the only multiplayer aspect of the game is CS. Was hoping to play the actually game code in a multiplayer environment. I also hate the fact that if I want to have my own copy of the game I have to order one and wait close to 2 months to recieve it. By the way, I am using the key card that came with a Graphic card I bought a while ago which uses the STEAM or send off methods.

i might just have to go out n buy it.... wasn't really a fan of the first half life, but this looks dam good!

if you mean the fact that you have to connect to their servers inorder to make the game playable then yes, as for online play i dont know.
