Welcome to the thread dedicated to all the Bling'd and Riced BMW and Mercedes that I encounter during my day as a service tech on the German side of a small dealership.

A rating will be given to each example. For now it will just be 1-10,
with 10 being a Galactic Attention Whore.



the first candidate is this "///M" 540i

it looks like he has the ///M exhaust, but really it's just the tips that are welded to the stock 540 exahust about 2 feet before the tips

and now for the 20in rims...which he has held on wtih aftermarket locking lugbolts...but lost the key :roll: the wheels are so big that we can't perform the strut bracket recall on the car because the bracket would cut into the tires.

not pictured in these, is his DVD player that he keeps in the back of the passenger seat and is hooked up to the flip down screen situated between the front seats, which i believe ends up blocking the rearview mirror. He has an aftermarket stereo, which created a cluster-fuck of wires behind it (that i had to dig through to figure out why his turn signals weren't displaying in the dash), and a single 10 inch subwoofer in the trunk.

overall, i'll give him an Attention Whore rating of 6. The only thing that saved him from getting a 7 is the fact that the car has the power to back up the exhaust note. No, i take that back. he gets a 6.25 because the car is also an automatic.

Entry number 2 into the Hall of Shame is this Mercedes S500

the only thing i could see on this car was the 20in "chrome" rims. Which is th most common thing i see on Mercedes. It doesn't seem to be enough of a cry for attention by just buying the Mercedes, NO they have to Bling-it-out.

Because of the fact that this is a Mercedes, they get a minimum A.W. rating of 2. add the rims and they are up to 3.5

Tasteless. The rating system is awesome. I hope you have updates coming. 8)

oh yes. Just wait until the 745Li on 22's comes rolling in :wink: this will be an ongoing thing :D

hahah LOL this will be one to keep an eye on, maybe even a sticky? 8)

a sticky would be cool..it would make it alot easier to find it when it gets slow between updates. but don't be surprised if i post non-German cars. there are a few people around here that deserve 8's and 9's :D

Do they even sell the M5 in a auto? Surely any M-fan would look in the window and know it was a fake?
And anyone who isnt an M-fan wouldnt know what the badge stood for anyway- kinda pointless, really. :?

The E39 M5 was only available with a manual. Every M-fan will know it's a fake even faster, cause a M5 doesn't have a M-badge and a 540i-bagde on its boot :)

The last picture of the Merc its so dirty. Was the guy off-roading with it ? :lol:
