I went into the dealership and talked a bit about the car with the salesman (woman) and asked for a test drive. I'm getting it next week. Hopefully.

Nice pics, certainly the ones of the details. You should take some pics and shoot some vids if possible when you're testing the RX8 ;)

No, they just weren't sold here.

And I think there were only 80 sold in germany. That's what they said on Motorvision about a year and half ago.

Nice work again komo.....is the test drive on the condition you have a salesperson with you or all by yourself? I hope we get some pics and a little writeup of the day. :)

I'll have the car all by myself. That's what I was going for.

She said, that the rx8 is the only car in their fleet, that never goes "out" without a salesperson, but I managed to convince her.

I'll call her today too see what's going on. It's about a 70/30% (70 for me), that I'll get the car, without the salesperson.

Anyway, I will take more pics, and I'll probably make a small vid.

Wish me luck.

Oh, and I'm getting the Alfa Romeo GT Coupe for a test drive today.

I'll have it foe abouut 6-7 hours so it should be fun.

I will be alone, I will take pics...but I'll probably post the pics, tomorrow, because I have b-ball practice in the evening and I won't have time.

Why would she agree to give you the RX8, did you convince her you were interested in actually buying the car?
And how did you score the Alfa GT test drive? The salepeople must be more trusting over there....no chance of that happening here. :x

I told her I'm buying a car and this is one of my options.
I never told her what my other options are. A hell of alot cheaper.

I kinda know how to to talk to people, how to push all the right buttons.

When you walk up to a salesperson, you have to be very confident and know exactly what you want. That's it.

Yeah I kinda knew that but wasn't sure.

Does the guy live in Kamnik or somewhere near Kamnik. Or was it Kranj, not sure.
I think a buddy of mine told me about that car some time ago.

i wish they would let us test drive the cars by ourselves but no chance of that or else id be going straight to Park Place LTD to drive that new CGT :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
