Anyone seen the Porsche 911 Carrera S
 

In person that is and not on the tele or computer. I saw a black one 4-6 hrs ago behind the sole Porsche dealer. I didnt give it any mind since I thought it was older than the outgoing 996. I just realized it was the newer 997 when the fellow beeped me and I saw on my driver window the words "Carrera S".

Sorry no pics since I was more concerned on not bumping into parked cars in the narrow alley. I was also trying to avoid bumping the 911.

I've seen 2, but both were at a Porsche dealer....so none on the road yet. :(

Yes I have, but unfortunately no pic to prove it. I realized immediately that it was the new 997. A close friend of mine that has a 2003 996 Targa testdrove the new 997 Carrera S and said that even if the outside resembles a lot of the old 996 it's way better to drive. The only thing he didn't like was the gearstick that looks like it's from a Golf :lol:

I have seen it at the local dealer (no pic, but I will try and get one soon). It was silver and looked great. I reckon most 911's look better in the metal than in pics.

I saw one a month ago, a black and it was fine but I didn't have enough time to see if it is that much better than the 996.

I also don´t have a pic, but i saw a red one and i love it :)

I´ve only seen one at the local Autoshow and it is very very beautiful.

I've seen a two on the road, a S version and one regular carrera, dont even ask me about my camera..b/c I dont have one anymore..

I've seen one in the Maximilium-Strasse in Munchen, Germany (a really expensive shopping street) last summer it was an black one. It was my first and last one untill now :D

I saw one driving around scottsdale (rich part of Phoenix) and it was gloriously beautifull in red! :mrgreen:

Which colour do you guys think looks best? That dark blue one looks pretty sweet.
