Brand New Clio locking problems.....
Any of you clio owners had any problems with the central locking? Here is my mum's problem.
She has a brand new Clio, she locks the car at night, and in the morning it has unlocked it's self  It has done it two days in a row. In theory this is not possible, as the doors automatically lock after something like 5 mins. There are no other Clio's on the road..so I doubt there could be any signal confusion. Just woundered if this was a common problem. Think it may need a trip to the dealer to have alook at! |
My mom had a similar problem with a new Grand Espace.. they had to take the car back and provide a NEW one!!!
Now she had 6 times problems with the clutch pedal (it stays down).. 6 times she took the second car back and 6 times they were unable to fix for more than a week.. now they registered an old Espace at her name and kept the new one for God knows how long to find out... now wanting to scare you, but welldon't be surpised if they problem won't be fixed at the first try :? anyway for sure take the car back to the dealerhsip! |

I was a run around and basically PA for the drivers as well, so we spent quite a bit of time together over the week. I got to know him quite well, saw him recently at another GT race also. i heart about this problems, but they were from Megane

I have no idea!
I know that old ford locks worked like that, as people used to run round with half cut tennis balls, put them over the lock and hit them. This resulted in the vacum braking and the door unlocking. |
