never been a big half life fan, but maby i will. what specs do you need for your PC

Probably be similar to Doom 3 requirements. Of course, it depends on what standard of graphics you want it at; run it on a low spec machine and get obviously lower standard of graphics and fancy stuff. :wink:

half-life 2 (and half life) are all about the great gameplay. I've replayed the original so many times. It's a great game. My shitty PC won't run HL2 sadly. It's going to be a great game, unlike Doom 3.

Agreed, I loved playing half life alot too! It's crazy to think that they made such a great game (half life) on such a small budget. I can't wait to see how this high budget game plays! :D :twisted: :D

Even though the doom 3 game stank, the graphics are sooooo pretty, and that's the real selling point of doom 3, it's engine. They are gonna make oodles and oodles off of it.

not reading all that, but damn that game is good. 98% that is a hella alot!

The only reason it did not get 100% is cuz of cost I guess. This game is soo good, i played the hacked version a long time ago. Need a new comp to play this.

I personally thought Doom 3 was a good game. It's not great because I prefer to not shit in my pants when I play a game. I thought HL wasn't that great of a game. Its good, but not great.

From what I've seen, you don't need an extremely fast comp to play the game. Probably 1.2ghz with a gf3 or something would play it decently. I've read that the engine is extremely efficent, or well on CS:S it is.

hl2 is much much better than doom3. this game is absolutly brilliant with asus x800 :)
