Gran Turismo 4...and the Nurburgring
 

There is some talk that the Nordschleife (sp?), aka "North Loop" of the Nurburgring race course might be included in GT4 or some future version of Gran Turismo kind of like part of Pikes Peak was in GT2. Imagine pounding through the 14.8 mile course in some of the world's most exotic machinery...at least it's an attainable goal...not everyone can have a Lambo in real life :wink: :wink:

I heard voice about a very long track, but so far no official confirmations came from Polyphony Digital.. but it would be supercool!

And BTW, GT4 will be playable online ;) and online races at the ring, even with only 6 cars, would be GREAT!

I know for a fact that the SL55 AMG is in the game so that's what I would be using, even if i lose i would look very very cool in my SL 8) .

Hummm any ideas on a relesase date??

First they said December 2003, but as always Polyphony can't respect the dates ;)

Now it's moved into the beginning of 2004.. January maybe.. but apparently in Japan they'll also release sort of a beta version, with limited cars and track (similar to GTConcept), to show something to the public...

I have high hopes for GT4. GT3 was a let down for me. I hope the ring is in, if it is, between GT4 and PGR2, I'll be doing a ton of laps!

Racer free racing simulator has nordschleife and enzos and 350Zs and all kinds of good cars

its the 2002 version of nordschliefe and remarkably fun to drive

I don't think it's going to be coming out in January either...the best estimate so far was what I saw on ign.com I think, it said that based on the fact that Polyphony is already claiming delays are occuring, the game probably won't be available (in the US at any rate) until sometime in the spring or summer next year. I don't actually think that Nurburgring is going to be in GT4...but in some successive version of the game. Either way, it's going to be an awesome game for sure.

Crap number 4 is coming out already? lol i still havent finished 3 yet. Think i got till about 70% complete. has anyone actually bothered to finish every track and get 100% complete including the endurance races ....soo time consuming.
