The Z06 in it's proper element...

... as much as the "anti-Amreican car" group hate to admit - the Z06 was designed as a road race car first, drag race car second.

At Mid-Ohio, the GT3 was matched up very well with the Z06. I was clearly faster, but it wasn’t in the places I could pass. gee what are those cars trying to do keep up?

I would love to be able to afford a car just for racing like that and the Z06 seems like the logical choice in that pack.

I remember when the early gen C-4's were being actively run in the SCCA events, some of the low buck teams were actually in touch with the Corvette team. In my eyes, the 'Vette will always be a sports car racer.
