Nascar...can you get any lamer?

Ok Jr. got penalized for saying "shit" in a post race interview. Got fined 10 000$ and had 25 points decuted from the championship.

It gets better though. NOW, Nascar will delay live transmision by 5 seconds so they can bleep out any "profanities".

I say! WTF Is that? WTF! What are they a bunch of fucking puritans? For fucks sake their kids hear worse shit.....and lastly what does it matter if they say "FUCING CUNT". Its how you raise your kids dammit!

I dont know why but this really upset me. I think its very gay and stupid. America drops bombs on other countries but makes a big deal out of someone saying "shit"............................

What are you doing watching nascar in the first place?

lol

Just watching Speed News.

Yeah, the FCC slapped the network with a fine for allowing that to happen. As a result, 5 second delay. Pretty soon there will be no real "Live" tv anymore, not even the news. Just for fear that somehow, someway, something might be said or something might happen that could offend someone somwhere.

You're totally right with your "puritan" remark. It's just real life, reality. Not like hollywood violence shootings, just how real people behave in the real world. If the FCC wants to protect people (kids) from the real world, they really need to get their priorities srtaight.

I saw something on the news about angry mothers calling in about how mad they were that some of their children hear a swear word on the TV and how upset they were with the network. These people need to put their kids in a bubble in a locked room in the basement with nothing but a coloring book if they're honestly that concerned about the chance that their kid might accidently hear a swear word at some point in their lives.

These people need to get lives and find more important things to do than bitch about retarded things like this.

Sure you were... lol

As for time delays.. depends on the channel.. I dont see the need on speed channel, it is cable afterall. Its not like its one of the channels thats supposed to be family rated.

That being said.. how about we just ban nascar and well all be better off?

I suppose I could, but I'm too lazy. This way..I just wake up at 11 on Sunday Flip on the pre-race, and bam there it is...hot girls, and a little later, car crashes. It's like killing two birds with one stone, and I don't have to leave my couch to see it.
