Next-Generation NEED FOR SPEED Car List! Check it out!
Here are some of the car that i would like to see in a future version of Need for Speed, i heard that they will return to the big cars, when GT4 is almost ready. I took all the stats from Motortrend (USA). I have clasified the cars considering price, horsepower/transmission, displacement/cylinder and performance.

What do you think? Am i missing something? Do you like it? |
Theyve already announced a NFSU2.
|
I would like them to make a porsche-like game with ferraris.. It would have to be a little different though
|
I just like to see cops again. NFS U was fun, but too easy and personally I missed the pursuit with the police. I.M.O the best NFS will be a mix of NFSU, NFS HP2, P2000. Lots of tuned cars against supercars, cops and racing in a giant city
|
in a recent interview with EA chief xxx, he said that they will go back to the supercars series after NFS underground 2
|
They better return to supercars on the next NFS...and they better have interior view, it makes it more real, and driving with just a bumper cam sucks balls....
I remember how crisp and real the interiors looked in NFS3...and then when they came out with NFS High Stakes, they looked all blurry...Porsche unleashed had interior view but not as good as NFS3 IMO...or is it jus that my memory is failing? :? |
the car list seems great, but the PGR series are much better...
|
the nfs2 is great
but mi favorite is the nfs4 the mclaren f1 lm mercedes benz clkgtr ferrarif50 , i know the nfs2 have more supercars but the nfs4 is much better in resolution NFS4 :D |
NFSU : Ferrari Unlimited !!!
10 dvds of tracks and cars from all times ... i would even think of paying for that game  |
well I likes the style and daytime racing of hot pursuit, if you did'nt know NFSU3 is already in the making for the PS3 and a NFS game bin made for the PSP.

None on your list...
http://img62.exs.cx/img62/2271/TheNeedForSpeed.jpg http://img62.exs.cx/img62/2776/TheNeedForSpeed2.jpg I still believe the original Need For Speed was the best of the series. Technically, Porsche Unleashed was the best for its graphics & handling...but as much as I love 911s, it didn't have the variety/balance of the original. The original was great not only because of the different makes, but the handling was terrific (you could FEEL the differences between each car, strengths/weaknesses and all that - every other NFS has failed in this respect bar Porsche Unleashed) and those 3 open road tracks with 3 sections in each was fantastic. (best 3 road/tracks of the entire series) So the NFS I'd like to see would be the original game (with its real car videos, background, history features from Road & Track, realistic handling, open road courses with 3 segments) with current technology and cars (including dashboards) Most importantly, I WANT A SIM!!! NOT ARCADE CRAP! - no being chased by Police around in circles around a track, no helicopters dropping bombs, no pink slips, underground, no points for jumps/flips/'high air' etc. etc. etc. -none of that rubbish...its time to get back to basics and what made the original so great - a great driving sim on open roads! p.s Its 10 years since the original came out - and I STILL feel like starting it up and having a go (even when I've got NFS2,3,4,5)...its still THAT good. http://img62.exs.cx/img62/5726/TheNeedForSpeed3.jpg http://img62.exs.cx/img62/9357/TheNeedForSpeed4.jpg |
Oh man N.J.!!! You have the full version of NFS! Thats the best series IMO too. Long 3 parts roads(Alpine Montains or Costal), cool cars, great chases. The best was 911(of course Testarossa was fastest but..) you could see the ass going sideways if in the corner you released the throttle(if you know what I mean). And yes it was SIM, if you made mistake and crashed - you could only pray than car in front of you crash cause otherwise you would loose. I remeber playing often "just one win and I go to sleep" series till 5-6 in the morning cause it was tricky to win (sometimes)
If EA would release new version of it with NFS6/7 graphyx and engine, with Enzo, Stradale, Scaglietti, 997, new Boxster, CGT, Zonda, new Viper, Honda Civic/Accord TypeR, S2000, C7, CSL, Gallardo, Exige etc. but no crappy F&F s*it + smarter cops and it would kick butts and forsure will be best seller of all NFS Series :P I even had SE version, sold it long time ago :( |
NFS is shit
|
porsche unleashed was incredibly fun... but they need to do it with braod array of cars, not just one brand. a sim/mixed with some cops would be great... and upgradable performance parts you can buy...
|
One of my favourite series of games. They had the money to buy rights to place superexotics cars in their games. Porsche is the best IMO, the latest two games were total disasters IMO. It's sad to see them make games based on ricing up cars with typical arcade'ish physics and "plastic" handling :( For me NFS has died :(
