2005 Porsche Boxster
The new 2005 Porsche Boxter
http://www.rsportscars.com/foto/03/boxster05_02.jpg The new Porsche Boxster offers increased power from its proven 2.7-litre and 3.2-litre flat-six engines in addition to a host of other developments. The 2.7L 6-cylinder engine now develops 240 bhp, 12 bhp more than previously. The performance of the Boxster S has also been increased to 280 bhp from 260 bhp, while cubic capacity has remained unchanged at 3.2L. The Boxster needs only 6.2 seconds to sprint from 0-62 mph, while the S model achieves this in 5.5 seconds. Top speed is 159 mph for the Boxster and 167 mph for the Boxster S. Alos new are a revised chassis, larger wheels and a wider track. The 2.7L Boxster now has 17-inch wheels as standard, while the Boxster S features 18-inch wheels. The new Boxster also features a revised 5-speed manual transmission, with the S model benefiting from a new six-speed gearbox. Gearshifts have been revised so that shift travel is now considerably shorter. Both vehicles can be optionally equipped with the five-speed Tiptronic S transmission. The Boxster is also the first roadster in the world to offer head airbags. The new models go on sale late November in U.K. with a U.S. debut early next year. (Modernracer.com) |

I don't really like it. It's not aggressive enough. The old model didn't look good either but I think I still like it better than this new one.
