Ferrari Racing Days 2004 at Nürburgring

Yesterday I was at the Nürburgring for the Ferrari Racing Days 2004, with more then 1000 Ferrari’s (from Dino to F1 2004). Here is a small overview of the paddock:

Yes, all those tiny red things are Ferrari's :o
Schumacher was there to show off the new Maserati MC12 (Enzo copy?) on the track. He also drove his F1 car and a 575m.

Some non-ferrari red cars:

I don’t think this is really the new M5, is it?:

I also made a lot of short video’s here is one with lots of Enzo’s, F50’s, F40’s en some 550 barcetta’s and 288GTo’s:
http://home.planet.nl/~nottheone/ENZ...550b%20GTO.avi (save target as / 6MB avi)

I made these pictures with my phone (Xda2) so the quality isn’t very high: only 320x240 @15fps for the video’s.
My friend had a proper digi camera, I’ll see if I can post some of his pictures soon, if someone is interested

Is this event on every year at the Nurburgring and how much is the entry cost?
Also, is there an official website for this event?
I need to make my way to Germany next year if its on again.

I have to agree on that.. Ferraridays at Nürburgring without a camera!

But the pics you took were lovely indeed! :D

My friend brought the camera and I provided the transportation: that was our deal.

There is an official website: http://www.racingdays.de (I ordered my tickets for the Nurburgring site: http://www.nuerburgring.de/), this event is ones every 2 years. The ticket for entrance was €32 and the paddock entrance was €16 these prices are for the Sunday only.
On Sunday I counted 9 Enzo’s, 5 F50’s and 8 F40, but there may have been more (over the three days).

I thought the real M5 had a different rear bumper (with diffuser), but that’s not what this event was about. Porsches, Lambo’s were forced to park outside of the tracks parking places, because it was all about the many Ferrari’ (event was organized by Ferrari Deutschland).

More pics coming soon, but I’m sure that more pictures can already be found on the internet.

I will post some high quality pics tomorrow at the latest.
In the mean time here is another low quality vid:
Older Ferrari F1’s (1992, 1998, 2002, etc +333SP, not all on this fragment): http://home.planet.nl/~nottheone/333SP_and_F1s.avi (3mb avi / save target as)
(Sorry for my fingers, I was afraid I would drop my phone onto the pits 12 meters lower).
The fastest lap time was 1:19 on a track slightly different from the GrandPrix track, Schumacher drove two fast laps with his F1 2004: fastest was 1:09. He also drove some laps the wrong way round: he had never done this before. But immediately he drove very fast and on the limit, very impressive

My web space has a 1GB traffic a month limit :( , so please don’t share these links outside of JW.
BTW does anyone know how I can rotate video 90deg.?
