not a real test - BUT Supertest with HHR and NS lap time to follow in october :P - but finally a MB with some good ( very good IMO ) chances to be a real performer on the tack 8)

in short, what´s inside:

absolutely brutal sound - the editor has no idea how the boyz from AMG/HWA passed the german TÜV with that exhaust sound...

extremely good steering input - very precise, light and fast with almost zero understeering with warm sport tyres ( Dunlop SP Super Sport Race ) absolutely NO comparison to the SLR...

very sporty suspension setup, ESP & ASR are fully race track approved with 20000 km of race track testing - most of it on NS...
race car like suspension parts and diff-lock...

nevertheless, a very smooth ride on public roads as well, perfectly balanced between race track and dialy driver...

but again....only real disadvantage: the 5speed auto box... :?

Klaus Ludwig, all time master at MB, ( like WR at PAG ) clocked a 7:48 at NS - any questions :wink: :D

Good to hear that Merc has finally got a descent track car and sad to hear that it´s got an auto box :? they should put a sequential manual in there.

thanks for the pics also, i think that once merc does know his weakpoint of sports cars...i think that they will launch soon a gearbox similar to the Audi DSG in order to be the mercs gearbox in a similar level to Audis DSG or the BMWs MSG also.......
