the pic is a fake anyway the right side mirror gives it away, look at the black on the end of the mirror and look at the seats and the interior near the seat on the right side and the left, they are different.
If you can prove me wrong please do.

It seems a similar project to Porsches launching of the 911 Speedster...its another concept of supercars....besides the ordinary coupe one, with the methalic roof...there are other alternatives to have fun with these such cars such as the targa(an ordinary car without only the roof, some way to take some fresh air at high speeds), the cabrio or the spider...and then this one....the speedster without the windscreen....IMO the 360 modena"speedster" looks great

is it just me or does the car look somewhat longer than normal in the 1st pic?

that's what I'm saying that picture looks fake. Maybe not the car but the pic is look at the edges of the car especially in the fender wells. Also the headlight/fender on the right side also looks messed up.

I see nothing wrong. The first picture is bad quality. When a picture is shrunken on a computer by a big factor, the edges don't come out smooth.

Still looks worse than regular spyder though. But it probably is worth many times the regular too.
