WOW...that's really awesome dude! I love those WRC cars...and to see one in person and actually touch it, that must have just been so cool. 8) Great pics as well!

Those are some nice pics, the engine looks very nice and clean.

They had one of those at the Houston Auto Show a couple years back it was soo sweet looking and it used the same tires that this new one does weird.

And this is definitely different than your standard STi. And they have these at the Atuo Shows every year everywhere but you can't get up and touch the thing there, here we could get up and open the doors/hood, get inside of it touch everything, you don't get that at a car show. |

I also saw this at the Houston show but couldnt see inside clearly... Thanks mate!
Looking at the pedals I would have thought the brake would have been closer to the throttle to aid heel-and-toe shifting. Unless perhaps it is meant for left foot braking which means that the clutch is not essential for regular shifting but for ocassional use to suddenly cut the throttle to help the car turn in better. Anyone know about this? |
well they have an SMG style system for shifting and only have to use the clutch at the start of the race and if the electronics in the gearbox crap out they have to manual shift with the clutch. And to have the car turn better they use that long handle which is a Haydraulic handbrake sort of like another brake pedal. they actually seem harder to drive than most race cars like F1 but no one here would actually know since none of us have ever raced proffesionaly WRC and F1.
