is fuckin sick.. is huge, and got the afterburner thing.. looks like a mini jet engine

mindgam3 08-23-2004 02:09 PM

that is fucking amazing, i wonder if they are actually mini turbines though, would be very impressed if they are and that pilots got a lot of skill. I used to have a nitro RC car with aproper working engine that did about 45mph and that was sick. I like RC stuff but the bad thing about them generally is the people who have them...

I remember seeing something like this on the discovery channel or history channel. Yeah they are really cool, on tv the plane had mini turbine engines so im sure this one has them too.

Man, that is amazing. The pilot contorls the plane very well. They should put on board video system and control it thru the video feedback.

Amazing!! I wonder how the guy manages to keep control over such a machine with all the switches!! And damn, that landing looked a bit bumpy.

Very skillful "pilot".

shit, great find. Even controlling RC cars is pretty hard. I can't even imagine how they control the planes so well.

dutchmasterflex 08-24-2004 09:20 PM

wow.. that IS fuckin sick... now all it needs is some laser guided M80 "bombs"

This is one great jet its huge and was designed in the 60's by the American Navy. It can break the sound barrier and even though its 40 years old it still has a secret top speed. This jet is unmatched to all jets except the new F-22 Raptor and Raptor King and the SR-71 made in the 60's by the air force which is the fastest jet ever made. BTW my gamertag on xbox live is the name of an F-14 squadron called Tomcatters.

My brother knows the guy who made this RC and this guy goes to an Air Force base called Oceanie and he also makes replicas of this RC for the Pilots.

they're just scaled down turbines, they work off the same concept and are LOUD!!! (and the hardest to control)

there are some turbine planes that will hit 200+ mph!

FordGTGuy 08-24-2004 10:55 PM

I would love to see a RC break the sound barrier.

yeah RC stuff is pretty insane. Most competition RC cars will hit 60 faster than just about any road car which i know is a stupid comparison but its still amazing
