As for the Z3M Coupe, It has 315hp in the USA (emissions), and only 2001-2002 models. Before that they had 240hp...I think it's the S52 engine which is 240hp and the S54 which is 321/315hp. The 330's and my Z3 3.0i have 225hp - in europe they have 231hp, again due to emissions regs in the USA. That white Acura RSX has a 200hp I-VTEC but doesnt feel anywhere near as quick as the new shape 200hp Civic Type R's I have driven in the UK... |
It's M Coupe, not Z3M Coupe...for future reference ;)

Yes you are right. It's 9am Sunday morning here though

BTW: It looked like a pretty cool day. How did the Z3 handle? |

SUVs and pickups? Tell me about it. Right bunch of 'I'm alright if I can't drive as you'll come off worse than me twats' round here, mate...I'm biased though, see below... Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup Truck not paying attention (she was drinking coffee - it was all over her steering wheel) + Z3 = 1 fucked off Englishman. This happened in January... http://img29.exs.cx/img29/6456/ouch.jpg |
It hurts me to see your car like that. Did the bitch at least get a fine for reckless driving?
|
Oh yes, I was straight on the phone to the cops  Still, fortunately she was insured, it all got repaired (it cost $9000 to repair although BMW forgot to wire up the BMW subwoofer, duh, so it had to go back) and I sold the car shortly after and got compensation for my troubles.

Yes, I wasn't injured so I was quite surprised and took their first offer although I could have held out for more.

How exactly do you do that? I have a close friend that has recently been in an accident similar to yours in the Z3 and he/she didn't get any compensation so far. |
moan and whinge a lot at the insurance company about time off work which was 3 days in my case (I'm a contractor so I don't get sick pay and my $/hr rate is quite high), loss of value on the car, hospital bills - I wasn't injured but I went for a check up...
in my case it was 3 days before my wedding so it was for my wifes 'emotional distress' if your friend was too traumatised to drive for a while too, then that can amount to loss of quality of life due to decreased mobility. Not that I want to put ideas in your head. Be pushy but just don't be too greedy nor try and lie to them. |
This is the point isnt it?....if someone wants to get some compensation when he has had an accident....i think that the best thing is to moan the company exagerating the things a bit, because otherwise the client never will get the conpensation enough, once the insurance company things in itself..as any other company.....and never is a good piece of advice to tell lies, otherwise the client never wont get back anything because the insurance company will discover the lie. this is my point of view after a 30 year life experience, although ive many things to learn still(as every human)
