I would rather have the Murcielago, with hardtop, than the roadster. It goregous of course, it's a lambo! But it just doesn't do it for me... that little extra. I'll take the one with the roof :) :) :)

Ever thinked on buying one Jab ?

Jabba 08-22-2004 10:49 AM

IMO it looks much better than the murcielago berlinetta...my sites are of course set elsewhere though I think.

Same this way id rather one with the hardtop but thats me, any ways the same pics appeared in this months motor mag out here, prob the same artical to ha ha.

mindgam3 08-22-2004 10:57 AM

i like it but if i had the money i don't think id buy one, the engine vents on the roadster make it look a bit too quirky - but then again they do make it look menacing ;)

The one good thing about open air motoring is you can hear the engines better...not to say that you cant with the roof on...but its a lot different...you can here the engine clearer with the roof on (no air noise) but roof off in a tunnel is breath taking. Lambo V12 + Ferrari V8 in stereo...and we can almost break the tunnel walls...or at least everyones hearing that is also in the tunnel.

I think the contrary , i love the berlinetta , but this is growing on me , i think it looks superb , not sure if better than the diablo , the diablo roof lets you drive at more speed right ?

Jabba 08-22-2004 06:40 PM

I dont think theres much in the stats.

The Lambo has so much power, a little thing like an open roof is hardly going to blunt it's performance

Jabba 08-22-2004 06:50 PM

Also the suspension is much stiffer than my old Diablo...obviously to compensate for the missing roof.

TKX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jabba 08-24-2004 04:50 PM

I think I am going to put everything else to one side...inc the M3CSL...and go for the big one (for me anyway) my dream car....a Ferrari F50

When is it going to be delivered  j/king.

Have you seen any in the UK for sale recently. There is one example at DKengineering, but i think you said it was a bit knackered @ £290k

Interesting.. in Classic Car mag this month the price guide says £200k :? ... how much is an F50 in the current climate Jabba...
