How to watch a video with Sub-titles? SRT files
 
i downloaded a video but it has a sub-title file SRT does anyone know how to run a video and an SRT file? or do i have to burn the folder, and watch it as a vcd, and add the subtiles in the menu on my dvd player?

hmm... thats a new one to me... have you tried manipulating the file extention to one thats more familiar?

there are ways to view it in Windows Media Player but I forgot how to do it

well under play there is a menu, but i don't know how to get it to work?

It's called VobSub that's the one I was talking about.

yeah i was just gunna tel you that. VobSub and there are some other extra plugins. VLC Player supposed to play subtitles, but I've found VobSub to work better with media player. Install VobSub and whenever you open the vid wit Media Player, if the subtitle file is named the same as vid, VobSub will go on the taskbar. You can then select language of subtitle and turn it on/off.

I use MicroDVD , try a search in google , its the bsest way to see movies with subtitles

BS player - that has support for subtitles.

thanx for everyone that posted links after i found my answer, good to see you tried, i am very happy with crystal player i like the way it works, and it plays almost any media file, pluse like 4 types of sub-title files,
