My new guitar - mp3 of the guitar

Here it is my maton messiah. Australian company that make very very nice acustic guitars.

It has solid rosewood back and sides. Eboney fretboard and bridge with mother of pearl inlays. Grover hardware, and a AAA skita spruce top!
all this traslates into some serious tone

http://h000625ee612c.ne.client2.attb...w%20guitar.mp3 recored jsut today, a bit of an odd sounding clip. i used a bit of a spnish theme to it.

very nice guitar never heard of them are they a top notch guitar company in Australia?
They look to be extremely nice quality.
Price?

cho_888 08-19-2004 03:20 AM

$4000 AUS and notice my name on the neck  its custom

T-Bird 08-19-2004 03:29 AM

Damn that's alot $2,800 I guess it's not too bad since it's hand made and customized though. I mean my Trumpet cost me(my parents) $2500 and My Baritone was $4500

Also those seem to be high quality "strings"

ouch!!!

i also think u need 2 use the "macro" on you're digitial camera.

very nice guitar, i dont think the pictures do the guitar justice.

I dont have a clue about guitars, but you can tell its good quality, looks really nice, bet it sounds good too, but it should be for all that money

cho_888 08-19-2004 05:37 AM

possessed_beaver you dont like the photos?!! i used a cannon d10 with an L series macro lens lol.
the reason it is focused on one spot is because i used about f2.8 i think. high quality lens

the strings are about $40 a set and they are bronze coated in a pollywebbing so that the sweat from your finger dose not corrode the metal.

I was gunna say the pics look very pro, but after seeing possed_beavers post I thought I must have bin wrong, cuz when it comes to photography I know nothing.

cho_888 08-19-2004 07:07 AM

yeah some people say, there is something wrong with your camera, but thats the effect i was after

Ian_yamaue 08-19-2004 09:21 AM

:o OMG! Beautiful guitar man, I intend to buy a good guitar too but further, by now I'm still learning and I play like shit, so a cheap one do well for while.
