It's nice yes BUT it isn't a real Cobra which kind of sucks.
and the speedo seamed to have been broken aswell.

Or disconnected so they couldn't be prosecuted after the fact for the "display of speed " on public roads.. ;)

You know I saw a shelby cobra at food-lion once I fi had a cmaera with me their would be another thread full of pictures around here. It was silver with 2 blue racing stripes(hot as hell!).

Yes that is not a Shelby, now what company it is from that I can't say because there are quite a few.

80% of the Cobras you see on the road are kit cars. most of the originals if still existent are garaged sadly but every once in a while you will find a real one like in my case with my recent post where most were Shelby's and half were originals from the 60's

thats not an original also because its a 6 speed, didn the originals come with a 4 speed? Very nice car though, there is a Factory 5 shelby replica back over here by my house, ill drive by it and get some pics. There is also a Z8 over here to, black. I think ive fallen in love with roadsters ever since i started driving the z3.,

no an original mint condition all original untouched Cobra 289 can get about $400,000 and a 427 could reach upto $600,000, one actually went for $1million but that was like chassis #1 or something. There were waay more 64.5 Mustangs made than all of the original Cobra's and the number of original Cobra's isn't very high anymore but they are out there. replicars from like Superformance or factory five racing can go for fully built $50k but much cheaper if you do it yourself but still up there for a car that you couldn't drive everyday, since the top aren't exactly the best and in the northern part of the country the snow would be a death sentence. You can buy a fully authorized and registered Shelby new for about $60k to over $100k. And good luck getting your hands on a Daytona those are worth easy over $1million since very few exist.

Also if your in Europe I'm sure that AC still produces their versions of the car they just aren't Shelby versions.

I think I'll keep to a Caterham If I ever wanted to amke a kit car

well a Superformance finished goes for $40k
and a version of the Lotus 7 (like the Caterham and Donkervoort that is US built) called the S1 for $23k

Both have no engine or Transmission though like most kit cars so you have alot of freedom on that part.

Originals are extremely rare. My dad knows a machinest who has one, but the best part is that it has one of few 427 cammer (SOHC) motors that they also used for racing. I haven't seen it yet but when I get to see this guys collection, I'll definitely get pics. I heard he also has an original GT40.

two big blocks? holy shit I need one now. ): the ford GT-40 uses a 427 cammer to.

Are you sure about that? Because I think they were just pushrod 427's, not cammer ones. But I am not completely sure.
