Which Is Better, G-Tech or Beltronics?

Ok, so I'm thinking it would be cool to get one of those accelerometers so I could measure my (and any one else who would let me :P) 0-60, cornering forces, braking, etc...

What do you guys think, is that a waste of money to get one, I think it would be a cool thing to have...

I guess there are more of these accelerometers out there, but these are the two I hear the most about, G-Tech Pro and Beltronics Vector FX1.

I've heard mixed reviews of the G-Tech Pro, some say it is pretty good, others say it is really far off, has anyone used it, and what's been your experience with it?

G-Tech Pro

I read a review of the Beltronics FX1 and they claimed it was very accurate and really had nothing bad to say about it, I am thinking maybe its the better one, but does anyone have or use one?

FX1

I have and use a Tazzo.

Pretty accurate - the few times I used it at the drag strip it was at least consistant...about 1s optomistic, but the point of any of these tools is to measure the delta not actuals.

Plus it was cheaper.

strip isnt exactly accurate either.. it measures average speed over a distance at the end.

True - it is average over the last 60ft if I am not mistaken.

I suggest AP22 from race-technology ... haven't used it, but the specs does looks very promising.
